Will this setup be good enough to run Crysis and other high end games?

I’m looking to build a new computer and was wondering if i get a XFX GeForce 9800 GTX+, Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 3.0Ghz CPU, Intel DP45SG Motherboard, and 2 gigs of OCZ 1333Mhz DDR3 if newer and higher end games will run decently fast. If you have something better please make suggestions but keep it in the $550 range for the 4 components mentioned.

That should run most games at a decent quality. Mine runs it fine, and it is very similar to yours, except mine has 4 gigs of ram and a ATI x1950. Should run crysis atleast at medium settings, with a decent framerate.

nothing can run crysis. even high end PC that are in the 2k price range have trouble. i was able to get a measly 25-30fps at 1024×468 on my machine wit a and 8800GTS 512. it was so bad expecially when i had the sniper rifle and started to zoom it would lag so bad that i gave up on it. Crysis warhead you’ll be able to run fine along with alot of other newer games
