Naruto Uzumaki is the popular character from the cartoon with the same name and the Naruto games. But something that people overlook is that Naruto is an excellent role model for younger children. Many people only look at the cool abilities that the ninjas have and there is where it stops for them. But they should also look at their motivations and personalities.

Starting from the first episodes, you will notice that Naruto has a big heart; he is the kind of person who will risk his life to save someone who is close to him. This is a great trait to have, unlike other characters who only take selfish actions and do not care about their loved ones. Naruto also is very surefooted, even though people underestimate him.

Uzumaki is the underdog in the beginning of the show, this changes later on as people notice that there is more to him than his goofy personality, because when it comes down to business he will use everything in his power to defeat his enemies.

Naruto is a very confident kid, he has a big dream of becoming a Hokage and knows that he needs to do big things to reach that goal. This is one of the driving forces of his confidence. Another reason why he is so confident in himself is because no one else was taking him seriously and thought that he could do big things. So he strives to show people that he can achieve what he dreams of. Most of the time he still acts like a child.

When Naruto gets into a bad situation where it seems like he does not have the upper hand, he quickly tries to analyze the situation and make the right decisions with his abilities. He usually ends up surprising even his enemies who underestimated him.

Naruto is also a mr. Jekyll and mr. Hyde. He is a fun loving kid, who likes to make his friends laugh, but when the nine tail fox comes out, that is the mr. hyde nobody wants to confront, unless you are a crazy ninja who wants to test his skills.

Naruto does not have much and he eats cheap food, ramen. This might also be a good connection for you. You might be a broke college student who can only buy ramen at the local grocery store.

Naruto is pretty slow when it comes to learning new things, but he tries his best and that is what matters. This is a good lesson to learn for children who are in school. Sometimes it might be hard to learn something new, but you should try your best. When watching the cartoon keep a close eye out on Naruto and you might notice why he is the main character for the show besides being a true role model. You should also play Naruto hand signs.
