what are some good multiplayer games for ps3?

Just Me asked:
and i don’t necessarily mean for online gaming, but i mean just multiplayer on the whole without the need of internet access. i have two remotes but i can’t seem to find a good game to go ahead and play. i like to go ahead and play with my friends, i played world at war and it was pretty good but i also want to go ahead and be able to play some of these with my girlfriend. so any multiplayer games that are known will be appreciated and considered. thanks.

Well from your description of what you want to play I’d say Rock Band 2. It offers so many features and downloadable content that you would probably never get bored. It’s a good game for the hardcore gamers as it has the expert level that could make you pull your hair out and for the casual gamers as it has a cool feature called no fail option. With this, you can bring in an inexperienced player and no matter how many notes they miss, they will never lose nor make you lose. However you have to remember that buying all those instruments will come out to $100+. I think your girlfriend will enjoy this too if she likes music.
Another game that is good for multiplayer is Little Big Planet as it allows for so much customization. You will be amazed at how you can make your levels look like the actual levels in the game. Perhaps you can even make better ones. You and a friend could trek through the many stages and custom stages. Once again this game could be both for the hardcore and casual gamer.
