What are some good games to play with my 1 year old?

Permanent Vacation asked:
It is très intelligent and is a little more avancé for its âge. She likes peek-a-boo plays etc, but it is more énergique than that. We spend much time on romping around the word, and I wondered simply what would be good for its activités of développement that we could play on the floor?

have u tried rolling the ball? or have her go get things for you. if your baby is really energetic, then let her do stuff for you. babies enjoy being on their feet and making you happy. so, even if it is as simple as “go pick up the newspaper with me”… they love it.
hope this helps.

When my daughter was 1 we would play the “I’m gonna game” it goes like this:
I put her on my lap facing me and then I say: “I’m gonna kiss ya, hug ya, or tickle ya” and she would have to guess which one and what ever one she said I would do one of the other ones. It is a great boding game.
Another game she loved was she would sit on one side of her bedroom door and I would sit on the other and I would give her flash cards and say “Pass me the letter or number” and she would pass one through the bottom of the door. It is a great learning game. I would make a huge deal when she got it right and she would laugh and laugh and laugh. Every now and then I even when she would get it right I would say “Are you sure” and she would giggle and giggle.

Read books to her, buy her ABC’s 123′s books and let her look at the pictures of colors and teach her the words. Talk to her about everything. My daughter is 14 months old and she is constantly asking us “dat?” meaning what’s that and I tell her. She can say a whole list of words like:
Yes
Out
Mama
Dada
Bad dog (don’t ask)
All done
No
Hot
Light
Socks
She can point out her belly, nose, a cat, the american flag, daddy’s badge (daddy is a cop) and a few more items. We talk to her all the time, we read to her. She also has interactive toys that light up and teach her shapes, colors, the alphabet and music.

Books that she can point to objects you ask her to. Stacking blocks. Bubbles. Wooden spoons and plastic or metal bowels, to bang on or to pretend cooking.
My daughter is 20 mos. , she loves to stack so she can knock it down, she doesn’t use the bowel as a drum, she pretends to cook!
